Do I have to be online to use your apps?

It depends on the app. You have to be online (or on EDGE) to load them, naturally. After that, OneTrip will run fine even if you lose your Internet connection. Quip gets its quotes from an online database so it won't work offline.

Can I ”install“ these on my iPhone?

From the looks of it, there won't be a way to install web apps for local use. Stay tuned, though - we'll see what Apple announces. For now, I suggest you bookmark the following:

I have a great feature idea for OneTrip!

Feel free to contact me about it. I'm currently waiting to see what the iPhone SDK will look like, so there will be no updates to my current apps until March. The SDK may change things significantly and I don't want to do any serious restructuring before it's out. After that, I'll either be redoing the apps completely or I'll work on adding new features.

What about the iPod touch?

Everything should work exactly the same on it! For brevity's sake, I speak of iPhone-this and iPhone-that on this website; feel free to read it as "iPhone or iPod touch or whatever other sweet device Apple puts mobile OS X on."

Will these work in my browser?

If your browser is Safari on iPhone, then yes. If not, they'll probaby work. Maybe.

See, I'd really like to use this in Firefox or Opera, though.

These apps are personal projects for the most part. Any time I'm devoting to them right now is devoted to making sure they run well on iPhone. I don't have the time, energy, or, frankly, the will to make sure they run on other browsers, since next to no one will use them on anything but an iPhone or iPod touch. Sorry.

How about IE?

How about it, indeed.
